I always thought rice cookers were silly and just another kitchen appliance that took up space and wasn’t used often enough to be worth it. I was wrong; this is worth it. I took off 4 stars for the followings. 1). Terrible packaging. There’s no other protective foam or more air pillows to protect the rice cooker. The box was completely open and the top foam protective was out of the box and the cooker was almost out of its own box - see photo. 2). Scratches on top of the cooker - see photo . 3). The inner round seal aluminum plate was difficult to push back into the inner cover. You need to put some elbow grease on it to accomplish the reinstall.
4). I do not like the color which doesn’t match what they described. Sorry, not a happy camper.

Toll, dass die Zeiten in denen Reiskocher hässlich waren, vorbei sind. Dieses Teil ist echt ein Hingucker! Wichtig zu wissen: Das Gerät wird hier als “2 Liter” Gerät geführt. Woher die kommen, ist unklar, es ist ein 0,8 Liter Gerät, gemessen am Innentopf.
Und: Die Angabe “1 Cup” bezieht sich immer auf den mitgelieferten Becher, von Gerät zu Gerät variiert die Größe. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist knapp, enthält aber eine Tabelle für die Mengenangaben für verschiedene Reissorten, Porridge, etc. Ich dosiere Flüssigkeit nur mit dem Becher, nicht mit der Topfmarkierung. Nach mehrmaligem Kochen gelingt der Reis perfekt. Die anderen Funktionen wie Joghurt machen muss ich erst austesten.
Während des ersten Kochens entstand ein chemischer Geruch, der ist aber nach mehrmaligem Kochen nicht mehr aufgetaucht. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis finde ich aktzeptabel.

Einer, wenn nicht der schönste Kocher den ich gefunden habe.
Die Angabe von Verhältnis Wasser zu Reis ist etwas komisch. Da muss man ein bisschen probieren. Wenn ich 1 Becher Reis nehme, gebe ich 1 1/2 Becher Wasser drauf. Dann bekomme ich den für mich perfekten Reis.

Ich hätte nicht gedacht das man sowas braucht aber ein Reiskocher ist schon was feines :)

Achja und der Topf hat keine 2 Liter Fassungsvermögen sondern 0,8 Liter.

Good looking cooker and cooked rice as normal but the instructions are rubbish. No info how to cook soups and stews in it and the timings in the booklet were wrong. It said 45-50 min for basmati rice, which I thought was strange. It actually only took 25 min. No timings come up on the machine until the last 6 minutes.
